Description:

The Dago Red is a racing versoin of the well known Mustang P-51.  The aircraft has been aerodynamically optimized with the use of a smaller canopy and a modified turtledeck.  We have succeeded in reproducing the elegance and dynamics of the original in model form down to the smallest detail.  Panel junctions/lines, rivets, fairings, and frame outlines are formed in the mold.   A graphics sheet includes all markings.

The main wing is factoy set up  for the installation of of the scale retractable landing gear (available as an accessory), assuring a precise fit.  By using our AW65 motor, in conjunction with our special, specifically for the Dago Red designed muffler, only one cutout, for the spark plug, needs  to be made in the cowl.  The model comes with a red gelcoat finish which will help in reducing the paint chores
