On June 26 & 27, after a two-year break, the giant gliders meeting took place in the beautiful Wasserkuppe-area. A wonderful event with numerous pilots from all over Germany. Special thanks to the tow pilots Alexander Obolonsky and Dennis Güra from FMC Rödermark for their tireless towing efforts on both days.
Alexander alone performed over 150 glider tows with his MOKI 250-equipped model - an impressive feat. There were many of our gliders in action. Our ASW 15 was there in all 3 sizes with 5 m, 6 m and 6.8 m wingspan, as well as the 6 m ASH26 and the 6 m Libelle.
A great event with nice flying colleagues in an impressive, historical environment - the home mountain of German gliding.
