The Me 262 was the world's first mass-produced jet fighter. The concept for the twin-engine fighter was drawn up as early as 1939 and the first flight of this type of aircraft took place in July 1942. With a top speed of 870 km / h, the Me 262 was clearly superior to the piston-engine aircraft of the time. The elegant shape, the timeless design and the revolutionary drive of this machine are still fascinating today. We couldn't resist the challenge of applying these specifications to the model and re-awakening the aura of the original.
The Messerschmitt Me 262 is one of the most technically demanding flight models of our time. Equipped with an electric impeller, it represents a similar revolutionary milestone in aviation history as the original!
For our Me 262, only the full fiberglass construction was possible. This is the only way to achieve the characteristic wing geometry and the distinctive fuselage cross-section of the model with all rivets, beads and details with a surface that can be reproduced at any time. The removable engine nacelles are reinforced in the turbine version. Consistent lightweight construction with maximum structural strength combined with two turbines enable the model's fantastic flight performance.
