Cmelak Z-37 Turboprop

The Cmelak (Bumblebee) was developed in the early 1960s in the former CSSR. The characteristic features of the Z-37 are the bent wings and the beefy radial engine with its imposing running noise as well as the outstanding STOL characteristics. The take-off or landing distance of the original is about 150m!

The multiple German Champion Stephan Völker developed the CMELAK and molded the characteristic maintenance flaps, sheet metal joints, screws and rivets of the original true to detail.

The full GRP kit is colored yellow in the base color. True-to-original landing flaps, slots and a sprung landing gear complete the perfect appearance of the model. By using the latest GRP technology, we have managed to keep such a massive project under the magic limit of 25 kg take-off weight. The CMELAK is ideal for towing, not least because of its size, and is a real attraction at any flying day.
