The Me 262 was the world's first series-produced jet fighter. The concept for the twin-engine fighter was developed as early as 1939, and the first flight of this aircraft type took place in July 1942. With a top speed of 870km/h, the Me 262 was clearly superior to the piston engine aircraft of the time. The elegant shape, timeless design and revolutionary propulsion of this aircraft still fascinate today. We could not resist the challenge of applying these specifications to the model and recreating the aura of the original.

Consistent lightweight construction combined with maximum structural strength, in conjunction with two turbines, enable the model's fantastic flight performance. Stephan Völker becomes vice world champion with this model in 2017.

For our Me 262, only the all-GRP construction method came into question. This is the only way to achieve the model's characteristic wing geometry and distinctive fuselage cross-section with all rivets, beads and details with surface fidelity that can be reproduced at any time. The removable engine nacelles are reinforced in the turbine version.
