Cmelak Z-37
The Cmelak Z-37 (Hummel) was developed in the former CSSR in the early 1960s. The characteristic distinguishing feature of the Z-37 are the gull wing and the beefy radial engine with its impressive running noise as well as the outstanding STOL properties. The take-off and landing distance of the original is approx. 150m!
The multiple German champion Stephan Völker developed the CMELAK and shaped the characteristic maintenance hatches, sheet metal joints, screws and rivets of the original into the original model true to detail.
The full GRP kit is colored yellow in the basic color. True-to-the-original landing flaps, slots and a spring-loaded landing gear round off the model's perfect appearance. By using the latest GRP technology, we have succeeded in keeping such a huge project below the magical limit of 25 kg take-off weight. Not least because of its size, the CMELAK is ideal for towing and is a real attraction on every day of flight.
