The ASK 21 is used as a two-seater in many clubs for training. The following aerobatic maneuvers are permitted: looping upwards, turn, raised roller curve, upswing, controlled roller, raised travel curve, lazy eight and inverted flight.

For the 1:2.5 scale model, this results in a wingspan of 680 cm with a body length of 335 cm. Once the model is in the air due to its impressive dimensions, the good-natured flight characteristics inspire both the thermal and the aerobatic trailer.
