The ASW 19 was designed by Gerhard Waibel in 1975 as the follow-up model to the ASW 15. It was developed as a performance aircraft in the FAI standard class and was produced a total of 425 times at Alexander Schleicher in Poppenhausen until 1986. The focus of the design was on the aerodynamically significantly improved fuselage, which was tapered in the cockpit area.

Our model is ideal for long thermal flights and simple aerobatics such as loops and rolls.

    The model is offered as ASW 19 and in the flap version as ASW 20 in full GRP/CFRP construction.
