DG 600

The DG-600 is a single-seat high-performance glider with flaps from DG Flugzeugbau. The aircraft made of carbon fiber reinforced plastic (CFRP) can be regarded as the successor to the DG-200 and DG-400 and was offered with wingspan of 15 and 17 meters right from the start. From 1989 the model range was expanded to include a self-launching variant, DG-600M. From 1991 onwards, variants with a wingspan of 18 meters with larger clip-on wings (DG-600/18, DG-600 / 18M) and winglets were offered.

On a scale of 1:2, we developed the model in full-fiberglass construction. With a four-part wing with a span of 7.5 m or 9 m and a fuselage length of 3.35 m, the DG 600 is a real large model.
