The standard dragonfly stands out due to its impressive aerodynamic shape. It was designed in 1964 with a wingspan of 15m for competitions in the standard class. Due to its low weight and well thought-out construction, it was also often used as a club machine. It already had automatic rudder connections and was therefore upgradeable in a short time. Due to the high-quality workmanship, the glass wing dragonfly is still a very popular used aircraft even today.
We opted for the shapely standard dragonfly on a scale of 1:2.5, which results in a span of 6m. The impressive dimensions of the model underline the majestic flight image and the excellent flight performance. Whether in the thermal or on a slope - our standard dragonfly is always the right choice. The high degree of prefabrication requires little construction effort for you and enormous flight fun without tedious handicrafts. As a tall ship, the standard dragonfly is a classic of the air! As a profile, we decided on a HQ 2.5 / W; With this profile, the model can be equipped with or without flaps. As with the original, the one-piece elevator is pushed into the rudder from the front. As a tall ship, the standard dragonfly is a classic of the air!
